Muzeion
The Muzeion building originally sat inline with its neighbors. The long row of warehouses built after the world wars provided little in the way of diversity and curb appeal. In order to set Muzeion, an art gallery, apart from its neighbors, Jeff Bales set the entrance to the gallery back from the street. The result is a break in streetscape that created a beautiful approach and a sense of escape.
